Step outside and the lake is calling. Start your day on the covered front porch in one of the rocking chairs, coffee in hand, as the sunrise reflects off the water. Spend sunny afternoons swimming, fishing, or paddling from the brand-new private dock. When evening arrives, gather on the sprawling back deck with picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and a grill for meals under a blanket of stars.

Inside, you’ll find inviting spaces for every mood — a family room stocked with board games for lively nights, a cozy sitting area for quiet moments, and a fully stocked kitchen ready for everything from pancake breakfasts to BBQ feasts. Outdoors, there’s nearly an acre of room to roam, complete with cornhole, frisbees, and bocce for family-friendly competition.

Your stay includes full access to the home, yard, deck, porch, and dock. The basement, attic, and garage are reserved for ownership use. Whether you’re seeking adventure on the water, peaceful moments surrounded by nature, or nights filled with laughter and games, Grammy’s Lake House is where lasting memories are made.

One of the true treasures of Grammy’s Lake House is the covered front porch — a space where time seems to slow down. From the moment you settle into one of the rocking chairs, coffee in hand, the panoramic views of Lake Pocotopaug work their magic. It’s more than just an entryway — it’s Grammy’s favorite spot for watching the sunrise, sharing stories, or simply soaking in the gentle rhythm of lake life.

With comfortable seating and plenty of space, the porch becomes an extension of the home — perfect for family gatherings, intimate conversations, or quiet moments with a book. Guests often tell us their most cherished memories here are the ones made on this porch, watching the world drift by.

As part of keeping Grammy’s home as beautiful as she always did, we ask that if your stay includes a Tuesday, please bring the trash and recycling bins down to the street in the morning for pickup. Trash goes in the green bin, recycling in the blue — both are located by the garage.

For safety, please note that the home has three exterior security cameras: one at the back of the driveway (parking area), one on the side of the house facing the driveway, and one at the front door.

When you book Grammy’s Lake House, you’re not just renting a home — you’re stepping into a place built for connection, care, and lifelong memories. Grammy would be proud to know you’re here enjoying it just as she always intended.

Getting around
You can park for free in the driveway, on-site. Best way to get around is by car or bike, while walking is also used by folks in the neighborhood.
